So guess what your elected officials did while you were asleep? The House Rules Committee voted 6–5 to kill an amendment by Rep. Ro Khanna that would have forced the DOJ to release the full Epstein files. Flight logs, correspondence, visitor lists—poof, denied. The only Republican who voted yes was Ralph Norman, which either means he grew a spine or got lost on the way to a TPUSA fundraiser. Everyone else? Firmly in Camp Cover-Up.
Meanwhile, Rep. Marc Veasey introduced a resolution demanding the Trump DOJ release all unclassified Epstein-related documents and investigate if the FBI or DOJ delayed or tampered with anything. Spoiler alert: this won’t pass in the MAGA-majority House, but it does make them sweat, and we like that.
And while all this is happening, Oversight Chair James Comer is laser-focused on… drumroll… the autopen. Yes, the machine presidents use to sign documents when they’re busy, like golfing or sleeping off their latest gaffe. Comer wants to know if Biden really authorized those pardons or if he was just nodding off while a robo-pen went rogue. He’s already threatening subpoenas to Biden’s former aides and even his doctor. Because clearly the autopen is the biggest national threat since Biden’s bike.
Today’s To-Do List
- Call your representative and say “release the Epstein files or resign”
- Amplify Veasey’s resolution and tag it #ReleaseTheLogs
- Email the House Oversight Committee and tell them “you’re wasting taxpayer money chasing a pen”
- Boycott today’s GOP-funder-of-choice: Fox Corporation
- If you’re in DC, join the rally outside Comer’s office at noon—bring Epstein signs and cat ears
From Resistance Kitty
They think you’ll forget. That you’re too distracted, too tired, too overwhelmed. But Kitty sees the game. They’re protecting their own while pretending to care about legal process. You don’t need a committee to tell you what’s obvious. Keep clawing at the cover-up until it coughs up the truth.
