- Win: A federal judge slapped ICE for running what basically amounts to a hygiene-free dungeon at Broadview Detention in Chicago. ICE must now provide detainees with real food, working plumbing, and human dignity while lawsuits proceed.
- Loss (ish): Trump’s lawyers argued that he can slap tariffs on literally anyone, anywhere, anytime. The Supreme Court didn’t seem amused — but remember, skepticism isn’t the same as justice.

2. Submit a public comment to DHS
DHS is taking comments on detention-center contracts through Nov 10. Use this portal: https://www.regulations.gov/ — search “ICE facility contracts” and demand cancellation of private-prison agreements.
3. Boycott alert
Skip Sysco, Keefe Group, and Aramark — they supply detention centers and profit off immigrant suffering. Post alternatives on social media using #BoycottPrisonProfiteers and #Revolution2025.
4. Join this weekend’s protest
Saturday, Nov 9 @ 2 PM (local) — “Freedom Not Fear” rallies are happening in over 30 cities. Find your local march via https://shutdowndc.org.
