đž Scratching Back Against Fascism, One Claw Mark at a Time
Hey Resisters,
You know what time it is â time to pop open a can of celebratory sardines (or Champagne, I donât judge) because even in the belly of the fascist beast, we. are. clawing. back. Hereâs what went RIGHT in Week 15 (April 27âMay 3) â and trust me, this litter box of a country needed the wins:
𧨠1. Trumpâs DHS Got Sued⌠Again
An immigrant rights org filed a federal lawsuit after whistleblowers confirmed that ICE is detaining legal visa holders without cause, just for “suspicious attitudes.” I mean, if thatâs a crime, every goth teen in America would be in Gitmo. The win? This case could challenge DHS’s abuse of âexpedited removalâ and reopen protections for travelers and visa holders â especially those not born in MAGAland.
đ 2. A Judge Just Blocked Part of Project 2025’s Test Run in Texas
Remember that bill trying to track âabortion drug wasteâ in Texas wastewater? Yeah. A federal judge called it âlegally incoherentâ and issued a temporary halt. Because if your fascist plan involves playing CSI: Uterus in the sewer, youâre officially too gross for democracy.
𧯠3. Leaked Audio from HHS Blew Up in Their Faces
RFK Jr.âs secret meeting with evangelical lobbyists leaked â and surprise! He admitted theyâre pushing âfaith-based scienceâ at the department. It blew up online, tanked public trust, and gave Dems ammunition to block funding for some of his plans.
The resistance win? You can’t sell snake oil if the snakes are hissing too loud.
đ 4. A Real Jobs Report â and It Wasn’t MAGA Math
Despite Trumpâs team cooking the books every damn week, independent labor economists released data showing that strikes, union organizing, and small worker-led co-ops are actually creating sustainable jobs.
Proof? Collective power still beats corporate greed.
đť 5. The Hacktivists Are Back, Baby
Anonymous (or a group claiming the name) took credit for disabling several Project 2025-linked data scraping portals. While the feds blamed âroutine outages,â activists spotted evidence of DNS attacks and server floods.
Letâs just say: Not all heroes wear capes â some wear VPNs.
đž Today’s To-Do List
Because snark alone doesnât stop fascism:
âď¸ Email Your Senator about blocking Project 2025-aligned judicial nominees. Yes, theyâre stacking the courts faster than I shred a leather couch.
âď¸ Add Your Voice to the lawsuit against ICE by submitting stories via WhistleblowerAid.org
âď¸ Donate to a Strike Fund. Amazon workers in Ohio, Kroger workers in Texas, and food service staff at Chicago OâHare are holding the line. Find a list at ResistanceDirectory.com
đž One Last Swipe from Resistance Kitty
Weâre not powerless. Weâre just pissed â and organized. Keep clawing, scratching, leaking, jamming, and loving harder than they hate.
They want silence.
We give them a roar.
