💼 Executive Branch: This Week’s Hits (Not the Good Kind)

🖕 Raping and Rewriting History
This fucker decided to sign an EO that will dismantle much of the Smithsonian. It directs the VP to decide what exhibitions are considered appropriate and fulfills yet another Project 2025 goal if rewriting history to be male and colonist centric. Details here.

🖕Banning Worker Rights (Again)
This week, President Trump issued an executive order that strips federal employees of their collective bargaining rights in national security sectors. Because, why should workers have any say in their own livelihoods when we could just crush their rights? Source

🖕USAID Shutdown
Oh, and in case you missed it, the State Department officially shut down USAID, meaning goodbye to humanitarian aid programs. Because who needs to help people abroad when we’re too busy trying to make sure the rich get richer, right? Source

🖕Environmental Destruction
The executive branch continued its relentless war on the environment by rolling back regulations that protect clean water, air, and wildlife. Because climate change is definitely not real, right? Source

⚖️ Judicial Branch: Where’s the Justice? Oh, Wait, There’s None.

• The Supreme Court’s Corporate Party
  The Supreme Court ruled that political donations are “free speech,” meaning that wealthy corporations can dump unlimited amounts of money into elections. Awesome, because who doesn’t want more corporate influence in politics? Source
• Dismantling Consumer Protections
  The U.S. Appeals Court allowed the Trump administration to dismantle the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, leaving the door wide open for predatory lenders to keep ripping off vulnerable citizens. Source

🏛️ Congressional Branch: Because Why Follow the Constitution?

• Tax Cuts for Billionaires, Again
  The GOP in Congress introduced a budget resolution that cuts $1.5 trillion from federal spending while raising the debt ceiling by $4 trillion—because bankrupting America is totally cool as long as the rich get more tax cuts, right? Source
• Anti-Immigrant Legislation
  Congress also introduced a bill that would prevent illegal immigrants from ever becoming citizens, which is just an extra cherry on top of their cruel, inhumane immigration policies. Because fairness and equality are for suckers. Source

  Oh, and let’s not forget about the new bill that would expand government surveillance even further. Big Brother is watching, folks, and he’s apparently always watching. Source
