Today in fascism-flavored clownery: Elon Musk has officially quit his cosplay role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), where he mostly tweeted nonsense and gave tech-bro TED Talks no one asked for. Trump called it “legendary service,” which in MAGA terms means “he bailed before testifying.”

Trump also flew to Pittsburgh to celebrate the U.S. Steel–Nippon Steel merger—yep, the same kind of foreign acquisition he used to foam at the mouth over. Apparently it’s okay now because capitalism and cronies.

Meanwhile, a U.S. trade court ruled Trump’s global tariffs are straight-up illegal. Shocking, we know. But don’t pop the champagne yet—an appeals court hit pause and might let this mess slither its way to the Supreme Court.

Also, 4 billion people—yes, billion—are baking in climate-induced extreme heat. That’s not a future threat; that’s right now. And the Trump regime’s answer is more oil, less oversight, and environmental annihilation for profit.
