Sign the Petition: Preserve Public Access to Epstein Investigation Records

Posted on February 26, 2026February 26, 2026 Dr. Harmony By Dr. Harmony 1 Comment on Sign the Petition: Preserve Public Access to Epstein Investigation Records

Members of Congress and Department of Justice Officials,

I am writing to formally request a permanent public preservation policy for all already-released records connected to the federal investigations of Jeffrey Epstein.

Over the past several years, thousands of pages of court records, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) disclosures, and Department of Justice materials related to the Epstein investigation have been released into the public record. Journalists, researchers, survivors, and the general public now rely on these documents to understand how the trafficking network operated, how institutions responded, and how future abuses can be prevented.

However, multiple previously accessible records have later been removed, relocated, restricted, or become unavailable without clear explanation. When publicly released investigative documents disappear, it undermines transparency, damages public trust, and prevents accurate reporting and historical accountability.

This request is not for the release of new confidential evidence.
This petition asks only for the preservation of records that the government has already made public.

We respectfully request the following actions:

  1. Establish a permanent public digital archive for all released Jeffrey Epstein investigation records.
  2. Require federal agencies to maintain stable public access links to released investigative materials.
  3. Prevent removal of previously disclosed documents without a public explanation and documented legal basis.
  4. Create an oversight process ensuring that once federal investigative records are released, they remain accessible to the public.

Maintaining consistent access to released federal records supports victims, protects investigative journalism, and strengthens confidence in the integrity of government institutions.

The public cannot trust transparency if public records can quietly disappear.

Thank you for your time and consideration of this request to preserve public access to already-released investigative materials.

Sincerely,
Concerned citizens and supporters of government transparency
