Day 552 Resistance Update and Agenda

Posted on July 27, 2026July 27, 2026 Dr. Harmony By Dr. Harmony No Comments on Day 552 Resistance Update and Agenda

Trump’s War Machine, Dark Money, Corporate Welfare, Government Surveillance and Today’s Major News

The headlines for July 27, 2026 reveal a country being drained from nearly every direction at once. Dark money is flooding elections, billionaires are dodging responsibility, corporations are making taxpayers subsidize poverty wages, and the government is quietly expanding surveillance while burning through weapons abroad. Apparently, the national strategy is to create every possible crisis at once and hope we become too exhausted to count them.

Key Developments

  • Michigan Today Is Being Swamped by Dark Money examines the millions of dollars flowing into Michigan politics through groups that conceal the people financing them. Voters are expected to choose their representatives while the wealthiest people in the room hide behind political action committees and carefully manufactured outrage.
  • The House Held Votes Galore provides a useful breakdown of recent House votes and the legislation moving through Congress. This is where lawmakers reveal their actual priorities, which are often considerably uglier than the patriotic speeches they deliver afterward.
  • America Is Running Out of Missiles reports that United States air defense supplies are being depleted as the conflict with Iran continues. Each interceptor can cost millions of dollars, proving once again that endless war is excellent business until someone notices the weapons cabinet is empty.
  • Iran Aligned Drones Struck Saudi Arabia documents another dangerous expansion of the regional conflict. Every new strike increases the possibility that the war will pull additional countries into a confrontation that political leaders may no longer be able to control.
  • Ukraine’s Strike on Iranian Shipping Killed a Sailor reports that Iran says a Ukrainian attack on a commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea killed one sailor and wounded another. The allegation adds yet another military actor, shipping route, and potential flash point to an international conflict already crowded with ways to become worse.
  • Trump Found Another Tariff Loophole explains how the administration is using forced labor claims to revive a tariff policy after the Supreme Court rejected its previous approach. American consumers will once again pay the bill while Trump pretends foreign countries are reaching into their own wallets.
  • Elon Musk Keeps Claiming DOGE Killed Zero Children examines Musk’s attempt to deny the human consequences of dismantling foreign aid. Saying “zero” repeatedly does not resurrect anyone, restore a medical program, or turn cruelty into efficiency.
  • Trump’s Nuclear Deal With Saudi Arabia Risks a Middle East Arms Race warns that the agreement may weaken safeguards involving uranium enrichment and international inspections. The administration that insists Iran cannot be trusted with nuclear capability now appears willing to create dangerous ambiguity for Saudi Arabia because consistency is apparently for countries without family business interests.
  • The President Sexually Harassed Female Journalists on Camera examines degrading comments directed at women journalists and the institutions that continue treating this behavior as political theater. Powerful men call it humor because admitting it is harassment would require someone in the room to grow a spine.
  • The Latest Outbreak Outlook reviews current infectious disease developments and the public health signals worth watching. Disease surveillance may not generate the same spectacle as a Trump rally, but ignoring outbreaks remains a remarkably efficient way to transform preventable illness into a national emergency.
  • The Supreme Court Gutted a Human Rights Law explains how the Court severely weakened the Alien Tort Statute, which had allowed some survivors of torture and other grave abuses to seek accountability in federal court. Six Republican appointed justices effectively closed another courthouse door while barely acknowledging the precedent they were abandoning.
  • Taxpayers Spend About $2 Billion Each Year on Medicaid for Amazon and Walmart Workers estimates that more than 279,000 employees of the two corporate giants receive Medicaid. The companies collect enormous profits, their largest shareholders accumulate breathtaking wealth, and the public subsidizes the medical care their wages fail to cover. Cute system.
  • The Founder of Gas Station Heroin Had Political Support investigates the political connections surrounding products marketed with kratom related compounds and commonly described as gas station heroin. When a dangerous industry has friends with power, regulation suddenly becomes complicated, cautious, and mysteriously slow.
  • The SEC Is Acquiring Artificial Intelligence Agents to Monitor Cellphone Locations reports that newly public documents describe planned access to cellphone location data, social media information, and credit header records through technology supplied by Babel Street. A financial regulator quietly assembling surveillance tools for tracking ordinary people deserves scrutiny before the system becomes another permanent feature nobody remembers approving.
  • The Coup Against the American People argues that the current attack on democratic government is unfolding through institutions, executive power, intimidation, and public exhaustion. Coups do not always arrive with tanks. Sometimes they arrive with legal memos, loyal appointees, database access, and a television network explaining why none of it counts.
  • The Senate Prepared to Vote on War Powers follows the fight over whether Congress will reclaim its constitutional authority as the conflict with Iran continues. Lawmakers love describing war powers as their sacred responsibility right up until exercising that responsibility becomes politically uncomfortable.
  • Republicans Appear to Be Meddling in Another Democratic Primary reports that a newly formed group called Michigan Sunrise PAC spent nearly $600,000 promoting progressive candidate William Lawrence in Michigan’s competitive Seventh Congressional District. The group’s funding remains unclear, and its name closely resembles the unrelated Sunrise Movement, because election manipulation apparently needed branding theft too.
  • Today’s EpsteinWiki News Update gathers the latest reporting involving Jeffrey Epstein, the survivors, the remaining fortune, contested Justice Department redactions, and the people still circling the story. The files remain a test of whether powerful institutions genuinely want transparency or simply want the public to become tired of demanding it.

6. Contact Your Lawmakers Directly
  • Call Your Senators: Stop Unauthorized War With Iran
    • Action: Call both United States senators and demand that they support the War Powers Resolution and require congressional authorization for continued military action against Iran.
    • Script: Hello, my name is [NAME], and I am a constituent from [CITY AND ZIP CODE]. I am calling to demand that Senator [NAME] support the War Powers Resolution and vote to end unauthorized military action against Iran. The Constitution gives Congress the power to decide whether this country goes to war. American troops are being harmed, weapons supplies are being depleted, and the conflict is spreading across the region. Congress must stop surrendering its authority to the president. Please record my demand for a public vote against any continued military action that has not received congressional authorization. Thank you.
  • Call Your Senators: Reject the Saudi Nuclear Deal
    • Action: Call both United States senators and demand that they oppose the Saudi nuclear agreement unless it includes strict international inspections and a complete prohibition on uranium enrichment and fuel reprocessing.
    • Script: Hello, my name is [NAME], and I am a constituent from [CITY AND ZIP CODE]. I am calling to ask Senator [NAME] to oppose the Trump administration’s nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia unless it includes the strongest possible safeguards. Saudi Arabia must accept comprehensive international inspections and permanently give up domestic uranium enrichment and fuel reprocessing. The United States cannot claim to oppose nuclear proliferation while creating a dangerous exception for a politically connected monarchy. Please demand the full agreement, hold public hearings, and vote against it if these protections are missing. Thank you.
  • Call Congress: Stop the SEC Cellphone Surveillance Contract
    • Action: Call your United States representative and both senators. Demand an investigation into the SEC plan to acquire artificial intelligence tools capable of monitoring cellphone locations, social media activity, and credit information.
    • Script: Hello, my name is [NAME], and I am a constituent from [CITY AND ZIP CODE]. I am calling to demand immediate congressional oversight of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s proposed surveillance contract with Babel Street. Public documents indicate that the agency wants artificial intelligence tools capable of analyzing cellphone location data, social media activity, and credit information. A financial regulator should not be quietly building a system that can track ordinary people without meaningful transparency or clear protections. Please demand the contract documents, hold a public hearing, and block funding until Congress establishes strict warrant, privacy, retention, and audit requirements. Thank you.
7. Boycott Fascist Businesses
  • Why boycott Amazon: An estimated 123,000 Amazon employees receive Medicaid at an annual public cost of approximately $927 million. Jeff Bezos grows richer while taxpayers help provide the health care Amazon wages fail to cover. Do instead: Buy directly from manufacturers, independent bookstores, local shops, eBay sellers, or worker owned businesses.
  • Why boycott Walmart: An estimated 156,000 Walmart employees receive Medicaid, costing taxpayers approximately $1.04 billion annually before dependent coverage is included. The Walton family has accumulated extraordinary wealth while the public subsidizes its workforce. Do instead: Shop at local grocers, farmers markets, Aldi, Costco, thrift stores, cooperatives, and independent retailers whenever possible.
  • Why boycott Tesla: Elon Musk continues denying the human consequences of the DOGE assault on foreign aid, including programs that supplied food, medicine, and disease monitoring. Do not reward him for converting government destruction into personal branding. Do instead: Keep the vehicle you already own, use public transportation, or consider an electric vehicle made by a unionized manufacturer.
  • Why boycott X: Musk uses X to spread his political message, attack critics, and dismiss concerns about the consequences of DOGE cuts. Every active user, advertisement, and paid subscription helps preserve the platform’s political influence. Do instead: Move conversations to Bluesky, Mastodon, independent forums, newsletters, or your own website.
  • Why boycott Botanic Tonics: The company sells Feel Free, a kratom and kava tonic that critics have linked to dependency and described as gas station heroin. Growing public health concerns deserve more attention than the company’s political connections or wellness marketing. Do instead: Do not purchase Feel Free products. Ask local gas stations, smoke shops, and convenience stores to stop selling them, especially near products marketed to young people.

Let’s Roll Kitties

These stories may look unrelated, but the same pattern keeps crawling out from underneath them. Wealth buys secrecy. Power avoids accountability. Public institutions absorb the costs. Ordinary people receive the danger, the surveillance, the medical bills, the empty legal remedies, and the lecture about why nothing better is possible.

The point of following the news is not to drown in eighteen separate disasters. It is to recognize the machinery connecting them. Follow the money. Read the votes. Question the contracts. Watch the courts. Track the weapons. Save the evidence. Then ask who benefits from keeping the public confused, divided, frightened, and exhausted.
