The Daily Shit Show News #656: Democrats Prepare Trump Investigations, ICE Records Exposed, DOJ Official Resigns, and Congressional Subpoenas Loom

Posted on November 6, 2026November 6, 2026 Resistance Kitty By Resistance Kitty No Comments on The Daily Shit Show News #656: Democrats Prepare Trump Investigations, ICE Records Exposed, DOJ Official Resigns, and Congressional Subpoenas Loom

Morning, Kitties. The election is over, and Washington’s attention is turning toward congressional investigations, subpoenas, and the financial relationships of people who have spent years enjoying remarkably little scrutiny. Democrats are preparing oversight investigations involving the Trump family, Jeffrey Epstein, government contracts, and immigration enforcement. Meanwhile, a federal judge has exposed fabricated ICE arrest records, a senior Justice Department official has resigned, and legal challenges to transgender healthcare restrictions continue.

Apparently the post election transition has begun, and the most popular accessory in Washington may soon be a fucking subpoena.

Daily American Shit Show Highlights

  • Democrats Prepare Investigations Into Trump, Epstein, and Corporate Influence: Congressional Democrats are outlining potential investigations into Epstein records, Trump family businesses, cryptocurrency, government contracts, and immigration enforcement. The oversight committees may be getting considerably busier.
  • Trump Family Financial Dealings Face Renewed Congressional Scrutiny: Democrats are examining possible conflicts involving Trump family business interests and federal decisions. Financial relationships are not proof of wrongdoing, but investigators want the records.
  • Jamie Raskin Signals Congressional Subpoenas Are Coming: Raskin is signaling a more aggressive oversight agenda as Democrats prepare to assume committee leadership. Apparently Washington’s next season comes with fewer press releases and more sworn testimony.
  • Federal Judge Finds Fabricated ICE Arrest Records: An Oregon federal judge found that an immigration officer falsified records and gave false testimony during litigation over warrantless arrests. The ruling does not accuse Noem or Bondi of personally falsifying records, but it raises serious enforcement accountability questions.
  • Harmeet Dhillon Resigns From Justice Department Civil Rights Division: Dhillon has stepped down after overseeing major changes to the department’s civil rights priorities. Her departure follows the midterm elections and comes amid questions about the division’s future direction.
  • Human Rights Campaign Challenges Federal Employee Transgender Healthcare Restrictions: The organization is seeking a preliminary injunction against restrictions on transgender healthcare coverage for federal employees. The case puts access to medical care and federal employment benefits before the courts.
  • Stephen Miller Faces Internal Criticism After Republican Election Losses: Reports of White House disagreements over Miller’s immigration policies are emerging after the midterms. Apparently Washington’s blame game has entered its fucking elimination round.
  • Donald Trump Jr. Faces Questions Over Reported Business Discussions With Putin Ally: Sources allege Trump Jr. discussed possible business dealings with Russian businessman Umar Kremlev, although the nature of those conversations remains unclear. The relationship is attracting congressional scrutiny.
  • Justice Department Creates Super Intelligence Task Force: DOJ announced a new task force to coordinate investigations into misuse of advanced artificial intelligence and related national security threats. The department says it will address fraud, criminal activity, and foreign interference.
  • Supreme Court Justices’ Private Papers Face Transparency Questions: A GovTrack commentary argues that Supreme Court justices’ working papers should be preserved as public records rather than private property. Judicial independence and historical transparency are both central to the debate.

Closing Kitty Thoughts

Well, Kitties, the election celebrations were lovely, but the serious work is just beginning.

Congressional investigations can expose misconduct, uncover conflicts of interest, and establish a public record. They can also become expensive political theater if lawmakers substitute television appearances for evidence.

The test will be whether committees obtain records, question witnesses, respect due process, and publish findings that withstand scrutiny.

Meanwhile, the courts are examining immigration enforcement practices, federal employees are fighting for healthcare coverage, and the Justice Department is entering another leadership transition.

Apparently Washington is discovering that winning an election does not automatically settle the arguments about what happened before it.

The documents still matter. The witnesses still matter. And the people harmed by government misconduct deserve more than another fucking press conference.

Claws out. Hissssssss.
