The Daily Shit Show News #649: DOJ Stalks California Ballots While Trump Profits and ICE Detains Americans

Posted on October 30, 2026October 30, 2026 Resistance Kitty By Resistance Kitty No Comments on The Daily Shit Show News #649: DOJ Stalks California Ballots While Trump Profits and ICE Detains Americans

The republic is coughing up hairballs again, kittens, and every one of them has a federal badge.

Good morning, kittens. The election is almost here, which means the Trump regime has reached the calm and reasonable stage where it threatens election workers, investigates ballots it does not like and quietly prepares another war for after everyone votes.

Elsewhere, Trump Media found a way to profit from America’s birthday, ICE misplaced people’s passports, DOGE located another job for the family and the Pentagon may have assigned adults to keep Pete Hegseth away from the liquor cabinet. Tiny paws ready. We have receipts.

Resistance Kitty says, “It’s not nice to fuck with Mother Nature kitties.”

Daily Shit Show Highlights

  • The News Ground found that Vitaly Yusufov, owner of a major Silicon Valley property, once controlled a company developing confidential communications for the Russian military. Nothing soothing here, just Russian state connections parked beside sensitive American technology companies.
  • Insider Paper reports that governments are preparing military bases and households for war, cyberattacks and infrastructure collapse. Apparently everything is perfectly normal, kittens, so please stock three days of food while the military stocks ninety.
  • NewsTRACS uncovered $350,000 in advertising revenue and receivables flowing from Freedom 250 to Trump Media. Even America’s birthday celebration has been fitted with a little tube that leads directly toward Trump’s wallet.
  • FactCheck.org explains that data centers are raising electricity costs in some regions, but they are not responsible for every increase nationwide. The honest answer is complicated, which is terribly inconvenient during campaign commercial season.
  • Bloomberg reports that acting DOGE administrator Amy Gleason’s husband landed a senior HHS job shortly after DOGE helped gut the office that hired him. Thousands lost jobs, but somehow the spouse found a chair. How efficient.
  • The Miami Herald found that Florida education commissioner Henry Mack warned schools against leaning on artificial intelligence while detection software repeatedly flagged his own writing. The software cannot prove he used it, but Kitty can smell hypocrisy through a locked door.
  • A United Nations briefing warns that military attacks on suspected drug trafficking vessels may violate international human rights law. Calling people narco terrorists does not turn the ocean into a legal murder sandbox.
  • Bloomberg reports that Japan is facing a brutal wave of cyberattacks powered by artificial intelligence tools and old security weaknesses. The machines are learning quickly while governments remain committed to updating software sometime after lunch.
  • Bloomberg Law reveals that Justice Department leaders ordered federal prosecutors to pursue criminal subpoenas targeting California election officials. They reportedly have not settled on the crimes yet, but why let evidence interrupt a perfectly useful intimidation campaign?
  • The Daily Beast reports that Trump rally regular Adam Radogna was indicted on ten felony charges involving alleged child sexual abuse material. Radogna denies the allegations and has not been convicted.
  • Declare News follows more than 300 deployed Kentucky National Guard soldiers trying to secure access to their ballots. Democracy survives because ordinary people keep dragging it forward while powerful men chew on the wiring.
  • The Harvard Crimson exposes allegations of threats, harassment and spectacular dysfunction inside Leo Terrell’s Justice Department antisemitism task force. Terrell denies threatening an intern, while his mighty national tour has reportedly managed one whole event.
  • NBC News reports that a federal judge blocked the administration from making seriously ill Medicaid recipients prove they are too sick to satisfy work requirements. Congratulations to the regime on inventing a medical obstacle course for people already fighting to stay alive.
  • Meidas News reports that Brazil’s Supreme Court ordered an investigation into alleged foreign election interference involving donor networks, paid influencers, prediction markets and social media algorithms. The allegations remain unproven, but the international rat nest is officially under examination.
  • ProPublica documented more than 500 American citizens detained during Trump’s immigration crackdown, including children and people recording federal agents. Your citizenship is apparently sacred right up until a masked officer decides your face requires further paperwork.
  • Narativ examines alleged connections between the Vance founded Rockbridge Network and efforts surrounding Flávio Bolsonaro’s campaign in Brazil. Rockbridge denies funding or operating the proposed project, while Brazilian investigators follow the money, the influence and the familiar smell of imported political sewage.
  • ProPublica found that health official Alicia Jackson endorsed a menopause medication policy change while holding at least $115,000 in stock in a menopause care company. Ethics experts called it an obvious conflict, while Kitty calls it treating public service like a personal investment newsletter.
  • The PunchUp reports that Victoria Drake filed a complaint over the police handling of her sexual assault allegation against Trump associate Paolo Zampolli. Zampolli denies the allegation, which has not been adjudicated, while Drake continues fighting to have both her report and the police response examined.
  • The Daily Beast reports that Senator Chris Murphy received a briefing on a proposed Iran war plan and believes it would unleash devastating escalation. Trump reportedly intends to wait until after the election, because surprise warfare is apparently part of the voter outreach strategy.
  • NEWSGIRLS investigates allegations about Jennifer Hegseth’s influence at the Pentagon, an official trip involving alcohol and people reportedly tasked with keeping Pete Hegseth out of trouble. The defense secretary may need a defense secretary from himself.
  • FactCheck.org recaps another week stuffed with distorted campaign claims and unsupported stories about voting machines. The lies are multiplying in the walls, kittens, and the exterminator appears to have joined the campaign.
  • The New Republic reports that Trump announced plans to close Washington’s East Potomac Golf Links after a judge limited further destruction at the public course. If Trump cannot immediately remake the public park to please himself, then the public apparently loses the park.
  • Law Dork explains that a judge rejected the Justice Department’s attempt to segregate thousands of California ballots using an unreliable list of supposed noncitizens. The administration also produced golf course closure plans remarkably quickly after telling the court those plans were still being developed.
  • Senator Chris Murphy warns that Trump is reportedly preparing to restart war with Iran after the election and calls the plan insane. When a senator cannot reveal the details but can reveal that they are horrifying, perhaps Congress should stop polishing the furniture and use its war powers.
  • Objection Everything reports that seven people sued after ICE allegedly kept passports, work permits, cash and personal property following their release. The regime demands immigrants carry papers while its own agents reportedly confiscate them, because the trap is the point.
  • The New Republic reports that a whistleblower accused Kash Patel of threatening employees rushing to redact the Epstein files and preparing to blame them for mistakes. Thousands of errors reportedly exposed survivors while powerful men remained conveniently tucked behind black ink.

Final Kitty Thoughts

There it is, kittens. Election intimidation, government profiteering, disappearing documents, family favors and a war plan waiting behind the voting booth. This is not ordinary chaos. It is power being used as a weapon and incompetence being used as camouflage. Keep the receipts, protect your ballot and never confuse their exhaustion strategy with victory.
