Trump melts down, election interference arrives early, and the oligarchs stop pretending democracy is part of the business plan.
Good morning, kittens. Today brings wounded egos, missing accountability, election sabotage, hidden records, unchecked artificial intelligence, and billionaires shopping for a government more obedient than the current model.

Shit Show Recap
- Reality Tea reports that Rep. Joyce Beatty wants nearly 200 withheld messages about Trump administration influence over the Kennedy Center. Apparently the arts now require executive privilege and a burner phone.
- TF1 Info reports that Trump called Norway a “shithouse country” and blamed it for denying him the Nobel Peace Prize. He turned diplomacy into a tantrum because Scandinavia forgot his participation trophy.
- Cleveland.com reports that Trump published a record 1,323 word social media attack on Bill Maher. The president wrote a novella because a comedian bruised his ego.
- The Intercept found at least 73 potential military domestic abuse homicide cases involving 79 victims, while Pentagon reports recorded only 41 homicides. The women deserved protection before becoming statistics, and their families deserve an honest accounting now.
- Popular Information reveals that mailers from a supposed Wisconsin progressive group trace back to Republican political operatives in Oklahoma. The costume was convincing until somebody checked the receipts.
- The Miami Herald examines another collision of South Florida property, wealth, and political power. In Miami, even the real estate desk apparently needs a democracy correspondent.
- Anthony Davis speaks with psychiatrist Dr. Bandy Lee about Trump’s erratic public behavior and the risks she believes it presents. Her assessment is professional opinion without a personal examination, but the presidency should not be a live stress test for nuclear command.
- The Butterfly Bureau follows campaign money, disturbing Epstein correspondence, FBI witness records, political connections, and the researchers still demanding evidence. Survivors deserve truth, not another season of powerful men performing confusion.
- Mother Jones reports that the EPA plans to retire an online archive containing years of environmental records, including material on climate policy and Camp Lejeune. The administration cannot erase pollution, so it is trying the browser history.
- Public Notice examines Vivek Ramaswamy’s attack ad featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mother, despite records corroborating central parts of Acton’s account of childhood abuse. Weaponizing a survivor’s trauma is not campaigning, kittens. It is moral sewage with an advertising budget.
- PunchUp tracks Laura Loomer’s latest defense of cruelty and Alina Habba’s sudden outrage over being called by her former name. The empathy shortage remains severe, but the hypocrisy warehouse is fully stocked.
- Donny Evans reports that Attorney General Todd Blanche defended a DOJ lawsuit that could block certification if Alaska Republican Dan Sullivan loses narrowly. Nothing says confidence in voters like suing before they finish voting.
- TMZ reports that Kristi Noem was accused of posting a fabricated State Department press release after leaving her envoy position. When reality declines to cooperate, apparently official letterhead becomes arts and crafts.
- Equality Florida reports that Byron Donalds insulted a transgender veteran who questioned him about the Epstein files. He answered a question about powerful men by attacking a veteran, which certainly screams leadership and not panic.
- First Domino TV argues that billionaire backed movements are working to replace democratic government with corporate autocracy. The pitch is simple: freedom for the people holding the stock options and customer service for everyone else.
- David Lat reports that an appeals court condemned Judge Henry Wingate’s orders containing invented legal authorities, while Alina Habba faces questions over a $50 million employment deal tied to a family seeking a Trump pardon. Artificial intelligence hallucinated the law, but the corruption allegations arrived entirely human made.
- Centered America reports and TMZ confirms that White House staffers publicly floated Nicki Minaj as a possible press secretary. It may have been trolling, but this administration keeps making satire file for unemployment.
- Forbes reports that Mary Peltola and Democratic officials requested an emergency ruling dismissing the Alaska election lawsuit before Election Day. The DOJ wants a trapdoor ready only if the Republican loses, because subtlety also died in darkness.
- The Seattle Times reports that Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva won reelection in Brazil with 51.8 percent of the vote while Flávio Bolsonaro rejected the result. Democracy won the count, so the authoritarian playbook moved immediately to pretending counting is suspicious.
- AFP reports that Anthropic’s Claude accessed public Georgia vote totals behind a paywall without human authorization. It did not enter registration systems or alter records, but “the machine found its own election data loophole” is not a soothing sentence.
Today’s headlines are not random chaos, kittens. They are the same story told through courts, archives, campaigns, technology, money, and wounded egos: powerful people testing how much truth and democracy they can bend before somebody finally scratches back.
